Pro-Scientology pages in Australasia

The CoS has registered the Internet domain name scientology.org.au; I suspect it was done in order to give more domain names with which to flood local search engines. Here's complete domain information on scientology.org.au as of September 1998.
The CoS had a plan to spam the Web indexes. (Though the real purpose was to get their members stuck behind the CoS-approved Internet filter, so they wouldn't see any nasty entheta like this page.) And they've been kind enough to provide an index by country of all the pages. Just imagine the mailing list you could compile from this lot.
- David R. Griffiths, a local OSA operative, was the first Australian contribution spotted. I did a review of the page.

CultAware Unzipped, a page claiming to be from Victims of CultAware. Plus US and UK mirror sites.
David Cooke, sometime a.r.s regular (if it's the same David Cooke; the writing style is similar), has a small page which is mostly links to CoS sites.

Nick Andrew - who was drawn into the battle when the CoS attacked the Galactic Emperor Remailer.
- Henry Bartnik called Nick asking for a little chat about his webpage. Nick declined.
Scientology in Sydney by Gnome.
- The CoS tried to get this page pulled (November 1998) from its original location (on One.Net), and Henry Bartnik (CoS Sydney) sent Gnome a nice e-mail (December 1998). Mr Bartnik also paid a personal visit to the offices of One.Net, trying to get the page pulled.

The Church's Official Multimedia Extravaganza, which has all you could ever ask for in a Church page. If all you could ever ask for is shallow and glossy PR. I strongly suggest you switch images off before going to this site - it has too many of them and is too damned slow (not a good ad for Windows NT Server).

The entire contents of the album The Road To Freedom are to be found on the CoS site. Having heard the record, I'm surprised they didn't just bury all copies. You need to hear this one, just to understand how low music can go.

Critical of Scientology

Andreas Heldal-Lund's Operation Clambake, the most comprehensive critical site. Essential reading.
Ron Newman's much-heralded The Church Of Scientology vs. The Net, which is a good place to start - despite no longer being maintained, it is of tremendous historical value, telling the story up to the end of 1996. Also includes a very good media archive.
James Wood's a.r.s Web Page Summary, updated regularly, has links to every verifiable page he can find. (Originally compiled by Marina Chong, now maintained by James.) You'll be quite a while working your way through this lot.

Free Zone - Clearing Technology

If you want it, there is theta after the CoS - ex-members who still practice (and criticise and expand upon) the 'Tech'.
