Nothing seems exactly right, but a few things were amusing, and I won't try to conjure up my own, lest I fall into the same trap as the Thinking Cap company, whose original slogan, instead of meaning "I think therefore I wear a cap" actually meant something more along the lines of "I think therefore I clothe a female goat." (I just hope I haven't quoted anything too out of context here.) Viola: Latin English -------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Credo orbes volantes extare. I think flying saucers are real. (Probably this one is more appropriate for OTs, but it was too cute to pass up.) 2. Tibi gratias agimus quod nihil Thank you for not smoking. fumas. (This one is handy for picketers, I suppose.) 3. Totum de caelo caeruleo venit. This is all blue sky. ("This" refering to CoS.) 4. Summam scrutemur. Let's look at the bottom line. (I.e., $360,000) 5. Lege atque lacrima. Read 'em and weep. (Re: NOTs) 6. Quantum in una hora imputas? You charge how much per hour? (Auditing costs) 7. Nihil curo de ista tua stulta I'm not interested in your superstitione. dopey religious cult. (Not true, except in the case of joining. Mostly here because I was amused he'd included it. Should be combined somehow with "orbes volantes".) 8. Utinam logica falso tuam May faulty logic undermine philosophiam totam suffodiant. your entire philosophy. 9. Obesa Cantavit. The fat lady has sung. (In the metaphorical sense. No particular plump person indicated.)
