I don't think Sydney police have been infiltrated or bought off by the
Co$. I'm curious as to why the wrong date was on Tony's picket
license,
but that could just be beureaucratic incompetence. One of the Scienos
present tried to infer that it was actually Tony who was pulling
strings
in the police force so that he could harass Scienos, disturb the peace
etc. etc. without being taken to task for it. Remember that the Church
doesn't have anywhere near the kind of muscle in Australia that they
do in America.

All that happened this time was that the Church found a loophole and
exploited it. Avoiding arrest is a matter of making 100% sure that
you've
jumped through every last stinking bureaucratic hoop that you have to
jump through, and if the bureaucracy makes a mistake somewhere down
the line, _you_ have to spot it and get it corrected.

The police had no idea what to do with me. The complaints to the
police I think focused entirely on Tony, and my presence was something
that neither the Scienos or the police were ready to deal with. A pity
that I couldn't continue while Tony was away, but I didn't want to
press the issue.
