Film show for patients

The Citizens' Commission on Human Rights will put on a special Christmas film show and supper for 80 patients at Plenty Hospital, Mont Park this week.

The Victorian representative of the Commission, Miss Suzanne Head said that members had decided to take "The Sound of Music" out to patients as some extra christmas entertainment.

"We are also looking forward to spending some time with them afterwards over supper," she said.

The Citizens' Commission on Human Rights is an international non-profit organisation working to reform mental health legislation and bring recognition of the human rights of mental patients.

Miss Head also said that the Commission planned to provide other sorts of entertainment during the coming year at various hospitals.
